Coming from a career specialty background as a renal nurse, Prof Chow is currently the Director Strategy and Partnerships, the Professor in South Western Sydney Nursing & Midwifery Research Alliance, Deputy Director of Research of South Western Sydney Local Health District. She is very active in both clinical trial and clinical researches. Prof Chow is the Chair of the HOME Network, an Australasia initiative to promote the uptake of home dialysis therapies. She is the Co-Principal Investigator for the TEACH-PD Trial. She is the Honorary Clinical Professor of the University of New South Wales, the Clinical Professor of the University of Sydney and Professor of the NICM Health Research Institute, Western Sydney University. Prof Chow was the inaugural Executive Director, Operation for the Sydney Partnership for Health, Education, Research & Enterprise (SPHERE) in 2015-2017. Her translational research and implementation work have had major impacts on policy and clinical practice in many areas. She is the holder of a large number of research and project grants.
