Olof was a council member of the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis 2001-2014 (ISPD Secretary 2006-2014) and a member of the European Renal Best Practice Advisory Board (ERBP, the guideline committee of ERA-EDTA) 2008-2020.
Olof has taken part in clinical trials of new peritoneal dialysis solutions as well as several other clinical trials, experimental studies and cohort studies.
