Helen Hurst has worked in renal medicine for over 25 years including 16 years working as an advanced nurse practitioner. She has a clinical academic position her research interests advanced CKD and frailty. She holds National and International positions, Vice Chair UK Kidney Association for education and academic affairs, Chair International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis Nursing Committee, Secretary of Association of Nephrology Nurse UK and member of the Greater Manchester and Cheshire Clinical Senate. She holds an Honorary contract with both Manchester Metropolitan University and University of Manchester.
