Watanyu Parapiboon is a nephrologist at Maharat Nakhonratchasima Hospital, 1300 bed hospital in the Northeastern part of Thailand. He is also an assistant professor of medicine from Mahidol University, Thailand. Watanyu had a Thai subspecialty board of Nephrology in 2011 and a certificate of Safety Quality Informatics and Leadership (SQIL) program from Harvard Medical School in 2018.
Dr. Watanyu daily work is to take care of various kidney disease patients mainly in acute kidney injury and peritoneal dialysis. He also put the peritoneal dialysis catheter and performed peritoneal dialysis in various AKI settings and ESKD. In other parts of his work, he serves as an assistant director in the quality improvement of the hospital and also initiated various quality improvement (QI) projects.
