Dr.A.W.M. Wazi is a consultant Nephrologist at National Hospital, Kandy, Sri Lanka.
He has significant research interest in IgA Nephropathy, Lupus Nephritis, Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis and post transplant infections. He is a member of research group that look into the etiology of CKDu, based in University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He won the President’s research award in 2012 for his work on Ig A nephropathy in Sri Lankans
Dr. Wazil has been a trainer in Nephrology and Current Chairman of Specially board in Nephrology at the PGIM: University of Colombo.
